Daily Driver AI is a community for the AI you actually use every day: real workflows, the tools that earned a place in your routine, and what didn’t work. We’re based around Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon, talk in a private WhatsApp group and meet in person regularly.
Who It’s For
Founders, developers, marketers, researchers, and anyone else who uses AI seriously or wants to start. Any level is welcome, as long as you’re curious and willing to share what you learn with the group.
How It Works
- Between meetups, the conversation happens in a private WhatsApp group.
- We meet in person in Cascais to show what we’re working on and compare notes.
- Membership is free. There’s no spam, no cold pitching and no selling to other members.
Meetups
Meetups run on a weekday morning in Cascais.
- First we pair people up: if you want help with something, you’re matched with someone happy to help, so bring one thing you’re stuck on.
- Then three or four live demos, three minutes each, no slides.
- It’s free.

House Rules
- Use your real first and last name and a recognizable profile photo, since we meet in person. Introduce yourself when you join: what you do and how you use AI today.
- Keep it practical. Share what you’ve tried, including what didn’t work, rather than headlines and hype.
- Beginner questions are welcome. Answer them the way you’d have wanted yours answered.
- No cold pitching, sales DMs or promos. Sharing something you built is fine if it’s useful to the group and you say it’s yours.
- Stay on topic: AI and how we use it. Politics and chain messages belong somewhere else.
- What’s shared in the group stays there. Ask before reposting someone’s screenshots or stories.

Who Runs It
I’m Jean Galea. I’ve been based in Cascais since 2026 and run AgentVania, an AI agency, so most of my working day goes into this stuff. I started Daily Driver AI because I wanted a group like this close to home.
