The Best Healthy Food Delivery in Cascais

Published: October 19, 2026Leave a Comment

Three glass containers of healthy meals with red rice, corn, vegetables and lentils

I don’t cook. Almost everything I eat is ordered online and delivered, and I’m also fussy about what goes into it: protein, vegetables, real ingredients, nothing that’s been sitting in oil. That combination rules out the default answer in Cascais, which is to open Glovo or Uber Eats and scroll.

The apps are built for impulse. What sells on them is food that survives twenty minutes in an insulated bag and looks good as a thumbnail at 9pm, so it’s fried, sauced, sweetened and oversized. Even the “healthy” section is mostly chain bowls with no nutritional information. Fine once in a while. As a way to feed yourself every day, it’s junk.

So the real search is for kitchens that cook for nutrition and deliver to Cascais. That second part is harder than it sounds. Most of what comes up is Lisbon, and plenty of those services stop at the city limits. For every service below, I checked that it delivers to a 2750 postcode against what the company says itself, not what a directory claims.

I’ve split them into the same tiers I used to sort the Barcelona market: a chef who builds the plan around you, macro-based plans you pick off a menu, and frozen stock for the weeks that go sideways.

1. Fully Customized: A Chef Who Cooks Around You

The gold standard, and the thinnest tier everywhere. You want someone who adapts to your goals, your allergies and how hard you’re training, week after week.

Nourish & Nosh

Nourish & Nosh is the most established option here. Chef Alexander Lange trained at Michelin-starred kitchens in Berlin, and his team cooks every morning, organic and never frozen, in Aroeira.

Cascais delivery is free, Monday to Friday between 11:30 and 13:30, on orders placed by 4pm. Weekly programs start around €63 for the plant-based and gluten-free plans and run to €169.50 for the high-protein builds. You can skip, pause or cancel before Friday at 4pm, with no lock-in. They’ll also build a personalized subscription on request, which is what you want from this tier rather than the presets.

I tried their high-protein program for a couple of weeks. The team is lovely and the delivery ran like clockwork, but on a preset program the dishes started to taste alike and I paused it. They publish no calories or macros either, which is a real gap at this price if you’re eating to a number. If you go with them, ask for the personalized plan.

Lovely Food

Rita at Lovely Food works differently: she comes to your kitchen and cooks there, so nothing is delivered. Cascais is on her list alongside Lisboa, Setúbal and Ericeira.

A session is €180 on a weekly plan, €190 fortnightly or €200 as a one-off, plus roughly €60 of ingredients. You get four dishes, up to eight servings each, which works out at about €7.50 to €8.00 a portion. She handles gluten, sugar, nut, dairy and lactose restrictions, and the cooking leans vegetarian. No macros are published.

My Chef Table

My Chef Table does private chef dinners, catering and weekly meal plans for clients across Cascais and Lisbon. Nothing is priced on the site, so it’s quote on request. Worth a call if the other two don’t fit, but you’re going in blind on cost.

2. Macro-Based Plans You Pick Off a Menu

Pre-built food with the numbers on the label. Less tailored, cheaper, and the right answer if you’re hitting specific targets rather than wanting someone to think for you.

Food4Fitness

Food4Fitness is the pick of this tier, and the only service I found that prints calories and macros on each item rather than a headline average. Their ordering page lists Oeiras, Cascais and Sintra as a delivery zone, with Saturday, Sunday and Monday deliveries on orders placed by Thursday midnight.

Single meals run from €6.65 up to around €13 depending on portion size, and goal-specific packs start at around €71. I like the à la carte route: 300g portions built from separate protein, carb and vegetable components, so you assemble the plate rather than accept it. There’s no minimum order, shipping is free over €90, and a subscription takes about 10% off.

A Cozinha Verde

A Cozinha Verde is the plant-based option and the cheapest per meal of anything here with a real plan behind it. Cascais is their Zone 3, with a €4.50 delivery fee and Tuesday drops on orders placed by Friday midnight.

A weekly five-meal pack works out at €9.60 a meal, dropping to €7.90 on a monthly ten-meal plan. They publish a headline spec rather than a per-item table, roughly 400 calories and 25g of protein a meal, and you can pay €2 for an extra 100g if that’s short for you. Meals arrive chilled and freeze fine.

The Revolution Food

The Revolution Food runs meals from €4.00 to €10.45 with gluten-free and lactose-free ranges, delivered Sunday and Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings. They say mainland Portugal rather than naming Cascais, and they publish no macros, so check both before you commit.

3. Frozen Stock for the Weeks That Go Sideways

The weekday plans leave evenings and weekends open. A freezer stocked with decent meals is what keeps you off the apps on a Sunday night.

Eat Fit

Eat Fit ships frozen meals with 24-hour delivery across mainland Portugal, so Cascais is covered without a special zone. Meals are €7.49 to €8.90, shipping is €6.50 and free over €99.90, with a €25 minimum. They guarantee 25g of protein and 3g of fiber per meal rather than a full macro breakdown, with a six-month shelf life and no preservatives.

Cozinha Por Mim

Cozinha Por Mim sells fresh and frozen ready meals dish by dish, with no subscription. The kitchen is certified gluten-free, the menu has separate vegan and lactose-free sections, and allergens are listed for every dish. It’s home cooking rather than a macro-counted menu.

They deliver to Cascais, Estoril and Alcabideche with a €30 minimum and a €5 fee, free over €60. Carcavelos and Parede have a €40 minimum and a €7 fee, free over €80. Frozen orders close at noon on the delivery day and fresh ones need 48 hours’ notice.

What I’d Actually Do

If you’re eating to numbers, Food4Fitness wins on the strength of publishing them, and the à la carte components make it flexible enough to live with long term. If you’d rather hand the thinking to a chef, email Nourish & Nosh about a personalized plan instead of ordering a preset.

Either way, back it with a freezer from Eat Fit or Cozinha Por Mim. Not cooking only works when the fallback is still food you’d choose to eat, and that’s the job the apps can’t do.

A Note, and a Question

I founded HealthyFoodBCN in Barcelona, which does the tier-one job there and is going strong. Nothing in this article is mine, and I have no arrangement with anyone on this list.

What I’m trying to work out is whether Cascais wants the same thing: fresh, customized plans with real variety, delivered every day. So two questions. If you’d buy a plan like that here, tell me in the comments or by email. And if you’re a chef in the Cascais area who’d want to run the kitchen side of it, I’d like to hear from you.

If you want the longer version of why I gave up cooking in the first place, it’s here.
